Weekend Baby!

Since Helmi and I both spend our weeks at school now we

really look forward to the weekend! (Well at least I do; she is still too excited about school!) We love to go bowling and today Helmi got 3 spares!!! I have a video of one and I keep trying to upload it but get an error... Also, the weather has been so lovely we spend a lot of time outside. Helmi switches between her bike and scooter. She has asked me if she could take her training wheels off but she still needs

a little more practice. She is

Lunch Bunch

Today I went to have lunch with Helmi for the first time. It was...interesting. First of all, kids were going NUTS. And you would think that all 5 year olds are just as adorable and sweet as yours. You would be wrong. Kids were hitting each other, sticking their tongues out, and bossing each other around. It shattered my perfect illusion that Helmi spent her days surrounded by hearts and rainbows! But all jokes aside, it was pretty wild. There are a lot of boys in her class and the boys are crazy. Not much changes huh? The girls split into small cliches and try to control where each person sits, what they eat, and in what order. Again, not much changes ; )

But all in all, it was very nice to sit with her and have our McDonalds. She was very happy to have me. Her teacher is wonderful and was also very sweet. I guess I just have to accept that Helmi is just a "small person", and people's behavior has been pretty predictable through time. Nonetheless when I tuck her in at night and kiss her forehead she is still and always will be my angel.
